Trained by TAMS Mentors play a significant role within the TAMS Community. 

Becoming a Trained by TAMS Mentor means seizing the opportunity to change a young person’s life. 

We will pair you with a mentee on the programme to provide support and guidance for their medical school application.

Applications close: Friday 25th February

*The commitments required of the mentors on the programme will be tailored to your availability. However, we do suggest the following to ensure both mentees and mentors get the most out of the programme:

  • Contact mentee via our mentoring platform or Zoom a minimum of once a month between April and December.

  • Offer 3 Personal Statement reviews (August to October)

  • Two sessions of interview practice with your mentee (including the Trained by TAMS mock interview in December)
