Trained by TAMS
Trained by TAMS is a 12-month intensive training programme for medical school applicants from a socially disadvantaged background*. The aim is to provide you with the necessary tools to improve the quality of your applicaiton.
The programme begins in March 2022 and will involve the following:
Interactive webinars on aspects of the application process (e.g. UCAT, personal statement, strategic medical school selection)
Critical review of personal statement drafts plus personal feedback
Mock interviews with TAMS Trainers (trained mentors, currently in medical school, from socially disadvantaged backgrounds)
Access to TAMS Trainers for personal advice and support during the course
Places are limited and competitive.
