Ealing, Brent & Barnet Aspiring Medic's Day

On 20th November 2021, the outreach team was back in action as they ran another Aspiring Medic’s Day! Students from all three boroughs had the opportunity to join this morning event, as many topics of interest were covered, including admission tests, interviews, and getting the grades / applying to medical school.

Carrying on from our previous talks, we invited physicians and medical students to shed light on their day-to-day lives in their respective careers, their motivations to enter medicine, and advice to impart to aspiring medics.

The event was positively received, with a few examples of what the participants enjoyed about the day:
