Kerris Redway- Kent and Medway Medical School
Kerris Redway is a first year medical student at the Kent and Medway Medical School. She has thoroughly enjoyed the programme thus far and continues to speak highly of how the scheme has impacted her development. When we asked her to share some of her reflections of the programme, here’s what she had to say:
“I would say that the programme has assisted me in my personal and professional development. I've learnt from doctors with similar backgrounds to mine and how they've navigated in entrepreneurship within and outside medicine. This scheme is tailored to the development of future doctors from widening participation backgrounds.”- Kerris Redway
Her medical school are particularly proud of her achievement of acquiring a place on highly competitive programme. Here’s what her Year 1 lead shared with us:
“We are so delighted that Kerris (KMMS Year 1 student) was accepted on to the TAMS programme. She is progressing well on her course and is very proactive in group work and an excellent team player. She also enjoys helping her peers during sessions so was an excellent person to be selected.”- Dr Ana Oliveira, Year 1 Lead, Kent and Medway Medical School
The TAMS Team is so proud of Kerris and all that she has achieved so far during this programme. TAMS is honoured to have such gifted and inspiring individuals within our diverse and growing community.
