On the 13th February 2021, The Aspiring Medic’s Support hosted the very first borough wide virtual aspiring medics day. With over 40 students from around the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, we had a great time filled with talks and workshops from medical students, doctors and a dentist.
Whilst we would have loved to host this event in-person, this was truly the next best thing!
Students were incredibly engaging and had the opportunity to ask questions in interactive breakout rooms. The feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive as students expressed that they felt more informed and prepare for the medical school application process.
The day was truly a success and we look forward to hosting more Virtual Aspiring Medics Days.
