Lewisham Aspiring Medic's Day

Lewisham Aspiring Medic’s Day was our first ‘Aspiring Medic’s Day’ ever!

The day was aimed at students who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine. Students from the borough were invited to Haberdashers Aske’s Knights Academy for an afternoon of talks and discussions. Speakers included medical students from various universities, including, King’s College London, University College London plus Barts and The London Medical School.

Students were equipped with nuggets of information that will assist them in every stage of their medical school application. They were also given the opportunity to raise their concerns and ask any questions they may have.

Students greatly benefited from and have requested that we host a similar event in the future.
